AUTUMN AGAIN- It’s Check up Time! October 8th, 2021

Dental Check Up Burnaby South

The seasons have rolled around and fall, the season of reflection, has returned.

Summer holidays are a wonderful time of the year, but regular habits like brushing and flossing can get neglected. Because we usually consume more sugary snacks and beverages on holiday, we put even more stress on our oral health.

Your whole family will need their after-summer dental checkup.

What is involved in a dental check up?

The first step is of course to book an appointment. Our dental receptionist will help with anything you need regarding scheduling, directions, instructions and dental check up cost estimates.

When you arrive for your appointment, our staff will check you in and guide you in what to do and where to go next.

During the check-up, a hygienist or certified dental assistant will discuss your teeth with you and ask about any concerns you may have, remove tartar and plaque; and polish your teeth. There may be a flouride treatment and if ordered by the dentist, X-rays may be taken.

After the cleaning, a dentist will examine your teeth, gums and whole mouth. The dentist will review X-rays if they were taken. Also, the dentist will discuss with you any follow up care as well as any concerns you may have.

Mouth Guards

Are any of your kids playing in any contact sports this fall?? Will it require a mouth guard?

They’ll need to be fitted for proper mouth guards if they play football, soccer, hockey, basketball, or even track and field. We can custom fit and supply the safest mouth guards available!

So when the autumn leaves swirl, look after your healthy smile!

With proper home care, regular visits to our office, and mouth guard protection, you will be flashing those pearly whites EVERY season!
