Damage to surrounding teeth. As you can imagine, if the wisdom tooth grows in with no space between an adjacent tooth, it is very difficult to clean and floss properly. This can lead to tooth decay. Another scenario is the wisdom tooth growing horizontally below the gum line and pushing into the adjacent tooth causing damage.
